Yesterday the city came to a standstill
With a blink of an eye,
Dust was seen all around.
People lying at the bottom
Of concrete debris piled upon,
Choking underneath and breathing heavily.
All were busy as usual
But,none did imagine,
This ghastly incident.
Nearby people flocked
Not for a glimpse of the show,
But too rescue the affected.
By the time help came
It was too late ,
The souls had bid farewell.
